I'm a software engineer based in San Antonio, TX, pursuing floral design across multiple programs and certifications — because some things you have to learn with your hands, not just your mind.

Floral design is where I get to slow down. There's something about working with living material — the weight of a stem, the way ranunculus open over three days — that no amount of code can replicate.

My floral education spans more than one path. I began with the Floral Design Career Diploma through Penn Foster in 2025, building a strong theoretical foundation across everything from design history and color theory to wedding florals, holiday arrangements, and the business of running a floral shop. Now I am deepening that knowledge through the Basic Floral Design Certification at the Floral Design Institute, where the focus shifts to hands-on, practical arrangement work — bouquet by bouquet, season by season.

This portfolio is a living record of that entire journey. Every arrangement comes with a full recipe, technique notes, and honest reflections on what I'm learning. As I move through new programs, certifications, and institutes, this site will grow with me.
